Ethan English is a 13-year-old EDM DJ and producer based in Dubai, proudly South African, and rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting young performers in the international dance music scene.
Starting his DJ journey at just 9 years old, Ethan has already performed across Dubai, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Ibiza, Amsterdam and Berlin, with appearances at major events and stages including Abu Dhabi Formula 1, Untold Dubai, Ushuaia Dubai, Emirates Rugby Sevens Festival and the Dubai Games. He has also opened for global icons including David Guetta and Afrojack, and has played alongside respected international artists such as Shimza, who surprised Ethan during the middle of one of his sets.
Known for his high-energy live performances, explosive stage presence and instinctive ability to move a crowd, Ethan blends electronic music, Afro House, melodic rhythms and mainstream festival hits into dynamic sets that keep audiences engaged from start to finish. His performances feature fast-paced transitions, mashups, backspins and crowd-focused moments, delivered on a professional setup including Pioneer CDJ-3000s, A9/V10 mixers, an RMX-1000 remixer and a DJS-1000 sampler.
Living in Dubai, one of the world’s most diverse and fast-growing music hubs, has given Ethan the opportunity to refine his craft while drawing inspiration from his South African roots and global musical influences. This combination gives his performances a fresh, energetic and international sound that connects with audiences across cultures.
Ethan currently attends Dubai Sound Academy and is supported by mentors from the UK, Argentina, Spain and the Netherlands. He has a full home production studio and continues to develop his skills in piano, Rekordbox, Ableton and music production. As an emerging producer, he has released music on Spotify, including Losing My Mind, Tell Me and Serenade, with several original tracks currently in development.
Driven by passion, discipline and a genuine love for performance, Ethan has earned the support of fans, promoters, brands and industry professionals alike.
